Student Scientist of the Month

To engage EIS students in authentic, hands-on activities that generate interest in Science and new views of Science and scientists, EIS has an initiative "Student Scientist of the Month" in place.

EIS students participate by making a video of LIVE demonstration / Explanation on a concept / DIY or Science Experiment which is either in the curriculum or their own invention.

Students upload their videos on EIS Flipgrid Server and a panel of teachers views these videos.

EIS encourages students to pursue S.T.E.M. (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) approach to widen their scientific horizon.

The Student Scientist of the Month is also a model that seeks to bring to school the content experts and enthusiasm of practicing professional scientists to stimulate student learning, interest in science, and consideration of science careers.

Workshops and Educational field trips are regularly arranged by the school in this regard.
