All of us know that ‘Raksha Bandhan’ is the ‘Bond of Protection’. Sisters tie rakhi on the wrists of their brothers to safeguard them from evil and bad luck. In turn, brothers vow to protect their sisters and their happiness forever.

Every year in EIS, this occasion is used as an opportunity to promote awareness about importance of trees, environmental balance and sustainable lifestyles. In a symbolic gesture to protect Mother Nature, the students of EIS tie specially prepared ‘rakhis' to the trees in the school compound. And take care of the plant too.

But this year due to corona pandemic lockdown, students prepared beautiful rakhis and tied to the plants at their homes and vowed to protect the mother nature.
