International School Award (ISA) constituted by British Council

We are pleased to inform you that EIS has been successful in achieving the prestigious International School Award (ISA) constituted by British Council - now called as International Dimension in Schools (IDS).

EIS team had taken immense efforts to present the work with evidences and description of all the initiatives that are implemented in school.

And the result is - EIS has been successful in achieving the International Dimension in Schools certificate for the period 2020-23.

The certificate will be formally presented to EIS in a ceremony in March 2021.

What is ISA -

The school is awarded for demonstrating exemplary qualities of team-management, innovative problem solving and an international outlook in their projects. Launched in India in 2003, the ISA award is given to celebrate school's efforts to include international work as part of their curriculum and helping embed it within their school's culture. The British Council’s ISA programme is designed to help young people be ready for the world, strengthening their idea of their place in the world as well as global citizenship education in schools.
