Workshop for Students

A workshop on ‘Learning Styles’ was organized for students of Educon International School. It was held to enhance the learning process by making students understand different ways of learning style.

Ms. Asllesha Thakur, a passionate educationist with over two and half decades of experience in the education sector conducted the workshop in a virtual session. An international speaker who has also spoken in different forums such as the NCERT, ASSOCHAM, CII, the Wipro Partners Forum, Digital Learning, Gray Matters Symposium etc. She is also a recepient of many prestigious awards.

She emphasized on VARK theory (Visual-Auditory-Reading/Writing-Kinesthetic) and took some excersizes on the same topic. Students also enjoyed making a word cloud of various answers. Mind mapping was also touched and explained to the students.

With a questionnaire that was solved in the workshop by each individual, students are now aware with their own unique style of learning. It was a fun learning to analyse one's own style of learning with the help of few questions meticulously designed for the same purpose.

This workshop was extremely helpful and insightful to all the students and teachers of EIS.
