Today we celebrate Teachers' Day. A day, kept aside to honour the gifted souls who work everyday to make sure that the future is bright for all of us.
Teachers' Day is being celebrated across the nation on 5 September to commemorate the birth anniversary of former President and eminent scholar Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakhrishnan.
Dr Radhakhrishnan believed that 'teachers should be the best minds in the country'. Since 1962, his birthday is celebrated in India as Teachers' Day on 5 September.
Paying respect and showing gratitude to teachers, EIS organized several programs to celebrate Teacher's Day. A variety of programs were performed by students and the teachers on the occasion.
