United Nations Day (24th October) is devoted to making known to people of the world the aims and achievements of the United Nations Organization and also a celebration of various cultural and ethnic communities.
At EIS, we welcome and value diversity. In that spirit, EIS celebrated the United Nations Day (UN Day). Continent wise group of students showcased maps of member states and learned about the United Nations’ role in keeping world peace and harmony. Information on various topics like Aims and objectives of UN, important organs under UNO and the role of secretary general was explained by students in the assembly.
Whole staff of EIS and studeUN nts found the various events very informative and interesting. With such events, EIS students are learning the important work of becoming peacemakers and we have no doubt that they will make the world a better place.
